Who We Are
Who We Are
At New Heights Christian Academy, our mission is guided by what we call our Three Pillars. Each pillar is equally important, and together they form the foundation of who we are as a school.
Pillar One: A Christian Academy
NHCA is first and foremost a Christian academy. Every student, at every grade level, receives daily Bible instruction.
- In preschool and elementary, Bible lessons are taught by classroom teachers.
- In middle school and high school, students attend a dedicated Bible class each day.
- Each Thursday, students gather for chapel—elementary and secondary separately—where they enjoy worship through music and hear from guest speakers.
- Every spring, high school students take part in a mission-focused week, offering opportunities to serve locally, regionally, and internationally.
While families are not required to be church attendees, all students are expected to support and engage in the school’s Christian heritage and activities.
Pillar Two: Academic Excellence
NHCA is a school with high academic standards and a long history of academic rigor. Our teachers are fully credentialed, passionate, and committed to preparing students for success. We challenge students to work hard, develop discipline, and embrace learning so they are fully equipped for college, career, and lifelong growth.
Pillar Three: Social and Behavioral Expectations
Character and conduct matter at NHCA. Students are expected to demonstrate respect for teachers and peers, welcome newcomers, and encourage one another. We intentionally foster an environment that slows down social pressures, allowing students to mature at a healthy pace and make wise decisions.
Just as a three-legged stool cannot stand if one leg is missing, NHCA cannot be what it is without all three pillars. Together, they form a non-negotiable foundation of faith, academics, and character. Families who desire a Christ-centered education with high academic and behavioral standards will find a home at New Heights Christian Academy.
